Whilst this park has been open a short while since the fences came down, there hasn’t been an official cutting of the ribbon, until now! So it was time for the Cirencester Skate Park Opening Jam at long last.

Never have I seen the park soo full of skateboarders from all over, everyone from the Bristol, Wales and a mass of locals turned up to what is no doubt a massive achievement to have a skatepark of this standard within the Cotswolds. Gaz and everyone at Decimal have worked extremely hard to get this park finally built and complete, so luckily the weather held out to make this opening jam happen!

Loads of under and over 16’s mini best trick comps were held throughout the day and not forgetting the race around the park which might of caused a little bit of chaos to say the least.

Also check out the edit from the day by James Harris. Some locals setting some new lines and park builder Churchill showing how to ride this amazing skate park.

Overall it was an amazing day and well done to everyone who put this together and made it happen. Until next year and also if you haven’t skated the park yet…..get down there ASAP!!
